Pip Studio
In 2007, Dutch designer Anke van der Endt started her own design studio on the Nieuwe Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. She called it Pip Studio – 'Pip' was Anke's childhood nickname. Under the motto 'Happy products for happy people', she built a global brand in 15 years with more than 2,000 points of sale in over 40 countries. Pip Studio stands for designs that respect tradition, embrace new techniques, and pay close attention to detail – designs that stand out and therefore need strong protection against counterfeiting. Markedly advises Pip Studio on exactly this, and keeps a close eye on making sure the brand and its designs remain genuinely unique.

Koninklijke Verkade
A Dutch gem – who didn't grow up with Verkade chocolate? And let's not forget Sultana, Nizza, Frou-Frou, Café Noir, San Francisco, Maria, and all the other Verkade biscuits and treats.
Royal Verkade has been around since 1886 and is now part of pladis, an international family business that also owns the UK's McVitie's and Belgium's Godiva chocolate.
Verkade has been named Brand of the Year on several occasions and, as a market leader, keeps a sharp focus on protecting its new brands and product designs. Markedly works alongside them with that same sharp focus – and a great deal of enjoyment.

Gouden Gids
Once known primarily as a printed directory, Gouden Gids is now a formidable brand online. With more than 1.3 million unique visitors per month, it is probably the largest supplier of business information in the Benelux. That naturally calls for strong protection. Markedly is responsible for protecting the brand name, the logo, and its signature yellow colour. Markedly has also protected an accompanying trademark for Gouden Gids – one of the few trademarks that consists not of a name, colour or shape, but of a movement: a motion mark.

Team Alzheimer
Team Alzheimer is a partnership between Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam (part of Amsterdam UMC) and the business community.
The organisation's goal is to raise as much money as possible for scientific research into all forms of dementia, a disease that affects a growing number of people in the Netherlands. It does so partly by launching innovative fundraising projects. A great example are the well-known Alzheimer Socks®, which generate a substantial financial contribution to scientific research every year. Markedly is glad to count Team Alzheimer among its pro bono clients, and to contribute to this important research in this way.
